Wattpad - Free Books and eBook Reader App Reviews

I would just like to first state that I love wattpad!!!! Its a great way to read great books/stories and especially for free. I love the new updates and how, whoever it is, the updater is inputting the updates into a story instead of just listing the updates. Keep up the good work, and continue on with those stories - theyre awesome!

Dont get me wrong, I love Wattpad. I never go a day without using it, and its basically my life. However, recent updates have made slightly upset with the app. For example, I dislike how it says *exactly* who youre following on your profile. Thats a little stalker-ish, dont you think? Theres some accounts that I follow thatd Id like to keep somewhat private. And, in the notifications bar, I find it unattractive how it now shows a single number (acting as a profile picture) when multiple people have commented/votes on the same thing. I would prefer it if it was just a normal profile picture, like it used to be. When you read stories, and finish up to the latest published part, the new share bar is quite distracting. Sure, its convenient to know when it was last updated, but I believe its a bit overkill. Theres also a noticeable amount of glitches in more recent updates. Whenever a story updates in my library, it takes me back to the very BEGINNING of the story, and I have to scroll all the way to the latest updated part. I will also receive a notification (from my phone) that Ive received a PM, but when I check my inbox, its not there. I hope this app continues to be great! But, from time to time, these changes arent my favorite. All negativity aside, keep up the good work!

This is an AWSOME app. Sure, it does have a little bit of bugs, but they go away. So, you need to get this app, RIGHT NOW! Thanks! Bye!

I love this app but I just have one suggestion. Can you please make it so that multiple accounts can share the same e-mail? It would make everything so much easier. I have a fan fiction account and my personal account and I would love to be able to run both with the same email. Anyway, just a suggestion. I would highly recommend this app.

Would rate 5 stars but lately the app has been becoming yet another app that you need to have wifi for. When I try to read a book when I dont have any wifi it keeps saying "unable to download story" and when I try to look at replies to my comments it takes me to the whole comment section. So if it was a comment I made years ago I wont be able to see what they said or if it was a recent one Ill still have to find the comment I made I have been a loyal user for awhile and absolutely love it but there have many glitches latley.

If I go to my notifications and theres a reply to my comments, I click on it as usual, but it brings up the error "The inline comment does not belong to this paragraph", it only just started doing that today.

Wattpad is my life! Ive had it forever and am greatly pleased with it. Every update is even better than the last, making it spectacular! 5 stars for you!

-The ability to put the books in our own order on our reading lists. -Having the opportunity to use different libraries would be cool & being able to name them and put whichever books we want in each. -Using linked accounts. It would reduce hassle and be SO much easier and quicker to get to other accounts. -Being able to see the number each book is in its genre would be so much easier if it was listed in the books description.

if you are apart of any kind of fandom and enjoy reading stories about involving them, this is the perfect app for you. you can find any kind story from one direction, to teen wolf, and even things like the avengers. not only do they offer a wide range of fan fictions but you can also write your own. as far as the actual app goes, the format is beautiful and makes things easy to search, write, and even organize your stories into reading lists. i dont think ill never change my fanfic reading app or website. this app makes reading more enjoyable and youre sure to find something that interests you, so if youre a little hesitant about trying a new app for stories, or reading stories or fanfics, i hands down recommend wattpad. 5 stars all the way, i have no complaints what so ever!

Ive been having this app for years. Its great. The stories are great. If you love to read like I do. Then this app is for you.

I love this app , but i really love how they write a chapter in each update description. its so cute and makes it seem like they really care.

Amazing app. Easy to use and understand. Good place to find excellent writers. The updates are constant and for the most part I love the changes (improvements) they make every time. Plus the cute little stories they write in the updates overviews are always fun to read lol ❤️ 10/10
